Illiteracy is a disease. My condolences to the family of the victims. It's sad that the accident happened in the first place. But to blame the ambulance driver is pure ignorance. First, the driver is not his own authority and couldn't use it without you first calling his department. There's a procedure you follow before an ambulance is deployed. Besides, you don't know if the ambulance was already deployed for another victim. I would be emotional to witness this incident though but the right thing is call for the service. My question is did the eyewitnesses call the Ghana Ambulance Services for rescue? The point is we in Africa exhibit crass illiteracy in many circumstances. Sometimes serious a accident happens and instead of calling for emergency services we try to manage it on our own. I am not saying not to help, but make the call as soon as possible whiles you try to do your own part. The person who was doing thw video and complaining could have used that time to call for ambulance. Sometimes people watch victims struggle to death but they want to catch the last moment on tick tok videos rather than help save lives by making a simple phone call, and turn around to blame everyone but themselves.

They did no wrong. People complaining should have for an ambulance because that one may have been called to respond to an emergency.
It could even be that it was carrying some goods for a minister and therefore didnt want to stop for Poeple to know what was inside as one was caught recently. Ghana we have a long way to go
