Illiteracy is a disease. My condolences to the family of the victims. It's sad that the accident happened in the first place. But to blame the ambulance driver is pure ignorance. First, the driver is not his own authority and couldn't use it without you first calling his department. There's a procedure you follow before an ambulance is deployed. Besides, you don't know if the ambulance was already deployed for another victim. I would be emotional to witness this incident though but the right thing is call for the service. My question is did the eyewitnesses call the Ghana Ambulance Services for rescue? The point is we in Africa exhibit crass illiteracy in many circumstances. Sometimes serious a accident happens and instead of calling for emergency services we try to manage it on our own. I am not saying not to help, but make the call as soon as possible whiles you try to do your own part. The person who was doing thw video and complaining could have used that time to call for ambulance. Sometimes people watch victims struggle to death but they want to catch the last moment on tick tok videos rather than help save lives by making a simple phone call, and turn around to blame everyone but themselves.

But trust me for all you know he’s fully loaded with some stuff that will not be possible for him to stop at the accident scene because Ghanaians we talk too much.
You we have an adage that goes like if “ if your chin is fallen and you holding your chin says if me the good samaritan going to look for bandage to solve his problem for him doesn’t hurry he will leave his chin”

I have seen the Ghana ambulance vans being used to carry cement, charcoal and farm produce and so it would not surprising that the driver was on a different mission with the government vehicle. All the ambulances has only 1 casualty occupancy at every given time so you can't blame the driver for what he did unless you can prove beyond doubt that the said ambulance was not on errands of any sort. The driver of the Ambulance might have lost his job by being a Good Samaritan to our Careless drivers who were involved in fuses accident. I by pass thuse vehicles myself and I saw that it was a straight road so why wrongful overtaken and besides blaming an Ambulance Driver instead of blaming overspending and wrongful overtaken.
