This is clearly political talk on election year. Everyone knows Afenyo-Markin is, as usual, responding to recent surveys indicating the religious community (Christians, Muslim and Traditionalists) are prepared to vote against the proponents against the passage of the Bill. By the way, majority of NPP MPs actions and inactions before, during and after the promulgation of the Bill is still fresh on our minds.

Why don't we give the same reform to men who have sex with children under 16 years of age. After all, we can all accept that was part of our culture.

We us a people have the right to change or continue with a culture or value.

And this his statement about being super nice to his daughter, he has no idea what some parents have to go through.
Children are born wild and with no manual and it takes not just one solution to make the best out of them so if he has it easy, let him keep it to himself.
We can improve our prisons to make sure such things don't happen.
May be sending the petty thieves on community service and our dear friends to the prison.
That may work. You send them to the community and they will advocate.

No one said this would be easy to enforce but at least the deterrent is not a bad idea.
