Every nation has its share of crime, but the ones that deal too softly with criminals often see an escalation in criminality, with the acts getting worse. The criminal laws need to be amended to give the courts more leeway to sentence these evil bastards to life in prison when they take someone's life or cause serious bodily injury to someone in the cause of committing their crimes.
