Tweah! This is all chaff, based on lies and misunderstanding of what the civilised nations have.

2. The NI isn't issued to everyone at 16. That's a lie. One fill a form to get it to start work with. So, if you aren't about to start work, you don't need it. Foreign workers get it too. It's used for your social security contributions.

What's going to happen to the Dept of Births and Deaths? It's supposed to record babies when born. Had this exercise been strengthening the decrepit body, it'd be a sound one. I don't see any sense in yet another wasteful duplication. Registration of a baby for a card which won't be issued to him/her until 15 years old! In between, who knows the number and to what use can it be put if not available to show as evidence?
