ALLAN BAGBIN SHOULD RATHER BE IMPEACHED!

Allan Oman Bagbin is the one that’s supposed to be impeached. That Kromfour dadaa former Majority Leader of Ghana’s Parliament should explain to Ghanaians as to how he criminally willfully shortchanged the government of Ghana when he acquired those cheap Chinese furnitures for the Parliament of Ghana.

He has actually did one single disservice to Ghana that can’t be ignored for the generations yet unborn. If you look at the American Congress and other countries Parliament houses the furnishings have been there for several decades. When you look at Ghana’s parliament the furnitures look too superficial, and that’s actually so humiliating to the extent that one will wonder if there are no qualified woodworkers in Ghana who can manufacture those hand crafted furniture to our August House.

The question is : how can such a criminal like Bagbin seek to impede the work of our government when had sole handedly used his position to previously shortchanged our country by inflating the prices of those “ Eye Sore” of furnitures our Parliamentarians are sitting on! AWI BALAO!

THE KUMASI, Takoradi and the Tamale airports are to be refurbished to international standards by the end of this year for the Confederation of African Football tournament (CAN 2008) to be held in Ghana.

With these objectives, the Ministry of Aviation has tabled a proposal before cabinet for approval for the commencement of the project.

Speaking on Peace FM, an Accra based radio station yesterday, the Minister of Aviation, Madam Gloria Akuffo said the rehabilitation of the three airports would cost government US$43.65 million.

She said the Takoradi airport rehabilitation would cost US$17.55 million while that of Kumasi would be US$13.6 million. US$12.5 million is earmarked for the Tamale airport project.

On the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), the Minister said the third phase of the KIA project would continue.

The Minister was reacting to a report from Kumasi that the airport was without water and lights to guide aircraft to land on the runway.

She stressed that temporary rehabilitation would be more expensive as it would not last.

Nana Addo since assuming office in 2017 has acted in several ways that has brought the presidency into disrepute. He has violated several constitutional provisions, some of these constitutional violations have been confirmed by Supreme Court judgement. I wonder why it took Parliament so long to consider impeachment of the president. THE KUMASI, Takoradi and the Tamale airports are to be refurbished to international standards by the end of this year for the Confederation of African Football tournament (CAN 2008) to be held in Ghana.

With these objectives, the Ministry of Aviation has tabled a proposal before cabinet for approval for the commencement of the project.

Speaking on Peace FM, an Accra based radio station yesterday, the Minister of Aviation, Madam Gloria Akuffo said the rehabilitation of the three airports would cost government US$43.65 million.

She said the Takoradi airport rehabilitation would cost US$17.55 million while that of Kumasi would be US$13.6 million. US$12.5 million is earmarked for the Tamale airport project.

On the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), the Minister said the third phase of the KIA project would continue.

The Minister was reacting to a report from Kumasi that the airport was without water and lights to guide aircraft to land on the runway.

She stressed that temporary rehabilitation would be more expensive as it would not last.
