I have problem with the hierarchy of the medal table, and wish organizers of such tournaments can do something about it. Take 2 countries, for example, Omuofia and Anagbo, who won medals as in the table below:

I have problem with the hierarchy of the medal table, and wish organizers of such tournaments can do something about it. Take 2 countries, for example, Omuofia and Anagbo, who won medals as in the table below:

Country Gold Silver Bronze

Omuofia 1 3 0

Anagbo 0 26 4

Which of these two countries has performed better? Obviously, it's Anagbo but on the medal table, Omuofia comes first. My suggestion is to give Gold 3 points, Silver 2 points and Bronze 1 point. This will produce a more realistic WEIGHTED AVERAGE TABLE and thus FAIR RANKING.
