The AFRC's rule was from June 4, 1979, to September 24, 1979; three months and three weeks to be precise and he left cash for the government of Limann! With those three months, he raised the consciousness of the average Ghanaian to appreciate the essence of nationalism, and true Ghanaians understood what the objectives clearly were. If he were allowed to stay briefly, even for 6 years, the face of Ghana would have changed, with everything remaining equal, but there's doubts: Ashanti people who were cut of the tap that pours money out would fight back like they did during PNDC.

Were you not the same people who were against him because the avenues to banditry, stealing (like the Sir John, Kufuor, Dapaah were doing) and all the evils were blocked?! Those who patrolled the West (like evil JH Mensah) were ones whose families later preyed the most like vultures on taxpayers' cash and had several free cars. JH Mensah's breakfast was teenage girls! (ever head of Somu mame before?)

Jerry wasn't President at the time, else he would have been treated the same way he was treated later as president because of whom he was.

Ghana and Senegal are very different and so are the people. Senegalese have acute sense of patriotism and seriously believing in nationalism. With a country of about 90% muslim their first president, Leopold Sedar Senghor a Christian retired from his presidential mandate!

With the way we see and do things, unless the Asanteman is cut off Ghana, the country would never prosper.
