At any rate the ECOWAS court will investigate and pronounce on whether or not her rights were truly violated. Sending a matter to court does not necessarily vindicate you!

Later, they realized their mistake and dropped the deportation charges, yet my brother didn't want to return to the USA because of how he was treated. Does she think we are swimming in money? Immigration officers at JFK, Heathrow, and elsewhere often make mistakes and disregard people's human rights. Because, if people feel the way they write, and are able to act the way the right when given the chance, then we are not far from calamity in our community! The insults are so hateful and the threats so often for it to be mere banter: we really haven’t gotten over tribal and ethnic bigotry in Ghana! Ashantis & Ewes especially, always going at each other, with some of the most distasteful words one could ever imagine.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why this lady is taking advantage of us! We are a foolish people! We don’t learn. We don’t grow up. And we don’t take care of each other! And that also explains why our politicians keep knocking our heads against each other! Because we are so easy to manipulate.

We have to grow up oh! We have to start realizing that, whether or not we love each other, or protect each other, the lands & resources that Nkrumah & co left for us are being sold by the politicians to the highest bigger! And they’re also mortgaging our future with silly loans and agreements.

The Justice Department should not have dropped the charges under any circumstances. She should have been tried and found guily then during the sentencing she would be told her term and then get her serve four days in prison. After that a Judge would have commuted her sentence to deportation.
That is how things are done.
