My friend, clearly you must be one of these just arrived Ghanaian economic defectors (the misdeed is more popularly referred to as seeking greener pastures) from abroad. For your information consider the following.

Since 2017, the country has been run by a cabal of half-wit khakistocrats who at a whim, they may opt to implement whatever childish fancy whim that drifts across their minds. This, they do without recourse to laid-down regulations, parliamentary obligations constitutional obligations, or administrative processes.

A Minister of Tourism for example, may without explanation to anyone, decide, on one fine morning to organize a Tourism conference or, a musical concert or even a cultural exhibition without recourse to any of the state tourism agencies under his purview.

Even a whole President can decide upon a whim, to build what he calls a National Cathedral and start that process by by-passing the institutionally established offices of the District Town and Country Planning Dept, the City Engineers Dept, the Metropolitan Authority, the Office of Regional Administration, the Parliament of Ghana or for that matter, any other institution that is mandated to supervise or ensure some amount of orderly development in this country.

These infractions take place all the time- in fact every day on our blind side.
