Realistically, I think we all need to accept that we have an average team and just excercise patience in the development process. At this stage it is not about qualifying for the WC or the AFCON. The issue is that in a year we should be able to be confident that we have a solid team that can actually win a majority of matches. The talent is there but we still have to work on the team cohesion. Moreover, we have to politely move on from some older players. It is going to take time.

What is required is that you 'fearlessly' empoly the right tactics, which includes the rigt selections, based purely on the player's current form (and not big/connected names). Your 'substitutions' towards the end of the second half of the Uganda Game were most questionable. Somewhat like Mr. Chris Hughton's substitutions in the Comoros AFCON Game.

Agreed! The problem is the captain who is now a shadow of his hey days but still thinks he’s super! He dampens the team’s spirit anytime he plays and that results in a defeat or draw. Can’t the coach see it.
