This professor does not work with IMF nor the US House of Congress he's saying what he believes or could be the consequences if Ghana chooses to go with the anti LGBTQ rights bill. We haven't heard that from the IMF CEO and a lot of investors I don't think cares about whether this bill gets passed or not if they're getting back what they deserve financially. The problem is the Americans politicians who act like big brothers but really do a bad job at it. Human rights activists who are gays and lesbians just like some of the western politicians/wealthy Gay/Lesbian business tycoons who use money as a tool to get what they want. Ghana being the gateway of Africa, first to gain independent on the continent is a milestone and it must stick to it's cultural values. But I think the country will be in a better position leaving this anti LGBTQ unsigned and we can still go back to the traditional ancient rule as some chiefs have suggested in the country. That is if anyone is suspected of engaging in same-sex activities they're banned from the land.
