In China corrupt people are sentence to death and is on going and it puts fear in the people. The people who appear b4 the public account committee of Parliament and found to be corrupt should be arrested by the CID there and investigated and if found guilty send to jail straight away. If corrupt people are sent to jail for 30, 40 or 50 years people will sit up. In that case some people will attend the public account committee and will not return home.

We've heard cries like that before. Some of these people now demanding executions of corrupt government officials were either too young or even not yet born to remember cries of "let the blood flow" in the late 70s and early 80s when JJ Rawlings wrested power from the ruling elites twice. WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME? In less than a decade the Rawlings outfit ( composed of many parasites and other self-serving individuals and parasitic families) outdid the very governments in the very vices they decried. Rawlings and his cronies set out to strip the country bare of its resources and assets. To date Ghana is yet to recover from the mass thefts carried out under his regime. Those leaders who followed thereafter simply continued with the corruption which had become institutionalized under JJ. Many of those who participated in this large scale looting are still amongst us and have not to date been called to account!

Can't we see it? A few of us warned you about the personality of the current Prez. Even though he has a bit of a good side privately (will discuss that another time), in government, he is a DISASTER! He is an overbearing personality without leadership qualities. He is a double-faced person, who hates to accept his faults and take responsibility for them. These qualities of his have affected our governance architecture and as a result almost all our democratic pillars are gradually being destroyed. Little wonder he is being identified as the worst Prez Ghana has had even before he comes to the end of his term. To cover up his sins, he is trying very hard with the assistance of a few useful idiots, like some at the EC to install his puppet, the Veep, to continue with his crimes. It's time Ghanaians wear thier thinking caps and tell this govt, enough is enough! We must make them account for thier stewardship. It's a national assignment. We must do it to teach the next generation about how to hold high our dignity and cherished values as a country.
