During Mahama's tenure Accra was visited with water and fire mixed. It scene has never occurred in Ghana before and will never happen to Ghana again. God removed Mahama from the presidency and he will never lead Ghana again. GYEEDA, SADA, Bus Branding, etc are things of the past.

The first dumso during the last NDC was in 2010 about two years into their term of office and they blamed it on Kuffour that he never added a gig to the available capacity because he couldn't finish the energy projects he started such as Bui and other terminal plants. By 2012 most of all what Kuffour started got into the pool but you guys didn't have money to fuel the terminal plants started by Kuffour and Atta Mills but you intentionally blamed them on capacity so you could sign dubious IPP contracts in excess including take or pay deals. In 2014 one Dr Duffuor said they should give him one year as energy minister and he will resolve dumso if not he will resign. JM gave him the job and by the end of 2015 he resigned because he couldn't resolve it. This proves that JM never resolve dumso because his dumso was due to lack of money to fuel the thermals. Come 2016 the election year JM tried hard to fuel the thermals to look like he had resolve dumso by adding more capacity but the problem at that time was not capacity but fuel money. Before 2016 the existing capacity was enough to generate power but for the inducement of corruption JM signed take or pay deals which has accumulated more debt in the energy sector leading to our current state. This government is trying hard to resolve the challenges so you should not think that Ghanaians have short memories so you can use propaganda to deceive them.

The dumsors have mostly occurred at NDCs time. In 1998, we had one when Ohene Kena, if I can remember correctly, was the Energy Minister. Then the big one supervised by One and Only Incompetent One!

It is Mahama era power that we enjoyed for the past 8 years. The current crises is self inflicted. The infastructure is still solid but no money to buy fuel power plants
