Spot on! I agree with Prof 101%. Infact if we had done psychological due diligence on all presidential aspirants in the past, AKUFFO ADDO, the bedevilled master and executor of all that is evil and wicked, the mother serpent of corruption hiding under a beautiful flower, a Downs syndrome sufferer will never have been president of Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana. Also the heehawing and neighing and breying comical Bawumia wouldn't have even dared to seek our mandate again after this monstrous and shambolic performance.

Friends and family mentality and then Airbus attitude. Prof should have asked for the mental capacity of voters to be assessed too. How can any party elect Airbus as leader?

Professor Agyeman-Duah, are you indirectly suggesting we made a mistake by not examining Akufo Addo's mental health status before electing him? Hmmm

I don't think this is possible despite the fact that there's a portion of the constitution which says a person with sound mind. The mind is not static that's why some couples go to the alter and swear before God and men that until death do them apart but they separate or divorce before death do them apart. We all know that the mind is dynamic or always looking out for new and better things. What Prof is saying is practically impossible and the one who is promising to dredge the sea wants to do what Gaddafi did in Libya. The question is how is it going to benefit the people and is it the priority of the people?

How foolish to have thought this guy and his like were neutral in their condemnation of Rawlings in the early 2000s that contributed to Kuffour winning the 2000 elections and immediately went quite after. He suddenly resurrected during Mills/Mahama's regime to mount his criticism until Akufo Addo won. He again went hibernation after Akufo Addo won. Now, he's smelt a rat that his darling NPP is obviously on its way out of power and he is found his voice in readiness to critic the NDC when they come to power in January 2025. Shame on him. This time, we shall not spare him when he opens his mouth. So he should shut up

Well ! well! Well! , this is what I have been trying all these years to get across to the citizens. That every presidential candidate has to be properly examined by psychiatrists and psychologists. Their mental health capacity ,proper examination of their physical condition, any substance abuse, alcohol abuse, sex addiction, gambling. Unnatural sex behaviour, susceptibility to corrupt practices etc..these are some of the things we need to know about our Presidential candidates and those candidates for our honourable house of Parliament , Assembly members , appointees etc.. Fighting corruption starts with the selection process of vetting every candidate for any elected official.

I agree with you, and while we are at it, let's include prospective drivers too.
There are a lot of mad people trying to get close to the presidency. . . or trying to get a driver's license.

The problem that Ghana faces lies with the citizens of Ghana. We the citizens don't specify the exact things that we need. For example, what road do we want? All weather roads? Quality like Tema Motorway? We need to have the specifics of the road. The President then provides that quality road for Ghana. So it should be with Hospitals, Schools etc. Until we state our specific requirements, every President shall fool us with his Worthless Manifesto.
