I am extremely confused. Can someone tell me which currency we use in Ghana? I have just read how Dr. Nduom has gifted new Graduates from his university $1000 each.
How on earth is this money quoted in dollars and not in Cedis? Is dollar our national currency? Would Americans or say British conduct their business in Ghanaian currency?
Is it not shameful, that a politician and a banker like Nduom will stoop so low to be part of the people who are always denigrating our currency.
I thought he once wanted to be the president of Ghana. How patriotic is he even to come close to the seat of Ghana?
These are some of the things that have negative effects on the Cedi. We must be proud of our currency and work hard to stabilise it and stop appreciating other people currencies.
