  These people are getting it wrong. A government spokesperson has stated categorically that the drugs are no more locked up at the port. That was over 2 weeks ago. NPPig thieves! GOD IS WATCHING!!!

  Akuffo Addo and his government have not done anything to improve on the health care in the country when Mahama can boast of what his government had done in healthcare delivery while in power.
  The hospitals lack beds , medications and diagnostic equipment, lack capacity with patients sleeping on the floors due to no bed syndrome.
  It is so pathetic that life saving medication can not be exempted from custom duties and other taxes and we have medications piled up at the ports because of non clearance due to custom duties. These medications have been at the ports for almost a year as per the narrative and by the time these medicines get to patients , they would have expired and rendered useless.
  Are we a serious nation ? Medical supplies that have been imported for the KATH through the benevolence of the Asantehene are still languishing at the ports because they have not paid the custom duty on these shipments. Why cannot these medical supplies be duty free ? Officials bring in their V8’s through the ports but they do not pay any duties on them . Why are we so wicked to ourselves?
