Sammy Gyamfi should stop his Political lies. We all knew the situation of our schools under Mahama. Is it not true that some schools did not have even Chalk for Teachers? There were and still are some schools under trees in Ghana. Yes, we have them in all the regions. I don’t blame Mahama for this because it is a problem that existed when I was going to school in Ashanti region at the time of even Busia. When I did my National Service at Ghana Secondary School at Tamale, some students had classes under trees and in incomplete buildings. This is very true.
Yes, some different level of classes were combined under one teacher. This is an Old problem. Okuapemman Secondary school is a good and rich school but at a point in time, some students had classes at the Dining Hall because the student population had bloated. Our School’s Clinic was quite big so part of it was used as the dormitory. Yes, that was the time of A.A Daddey. At a point in time, we were so many that some students had to have their meals outside the Dining Hall. I cannot blame any leader for this. The student population has become so big that some junior students had to sleep two on a bed.
Sammy Gyamfi, stop telling lies and offer reasonable how some of these problems can be solved. Have you forgotten that students even had classes under trees at the time of Jeremiah John Rawlings? Be honest and stop telling those stupid horrible lies about Mahama eliminating Schools under trees. The student population had outstripped administration efficiency because after Nkrumah, not very much was done to curtail such problems. I remember going to Tepa Bomaa and student’s lab experiments were taken under trees..
Sammy Gyamfi, under Kutu Acheampong, some practicals of classes like Leather Work and Carpentry were carried under trees in some schools. Some of us are far older than you, saw what happened, and we are no Political Fools to swallow your lies. Stop being a hypocrite and a Political Liar.
