Their traditional leaders have sold all the lands. Teenage pregnancy is the order of the day. Most of the youths are school dropouts. It’s a whole lot!

  It's disheartening to hear so called security experts refusing to acknowledge first and foremost that the military personnel is also human, has a family that look up to him and has natural instincts to defend himself in the face of adversity. I hope Mr Bona will observe a stranger wielding a club and parading in front of his house for unexplained reasons and invite him to his house, offer him beer and ask what his problem is. Let it be known that, the military is a force and not a service. Secondly, the same law that guarantees human rights in Ghana, guarantees the military the right to protect lives and property. Additionally, the personnel have the right to self defence. Their families need them just as the families of civilians need their breadwinners.
  If only Adam Bona stayed in Tema Newtown, where in the name of festival the only major road in the town has been blocked each evening for over a week, and to think of taking that to the door step of the military, I believe he would have said something more sensible. The military will not sit for civilians to kill them and destroy their properties, only to turn around to perform colorful ceremonies in the name of funerals for personnel whilst leaving their families in pain. I believe that before personnel die, anyone whose action could lead to their deaths if identified should go first. Whilst advising the cat learn to admonish the mouse to desist from enticing it. It's not in the nature if the cat to be enticed and not react. In the same vein if the attacks don't stop the military should continue to react. This I believe is common sense that all should know especially mr Bona the book expert in security matters.

Anytime there is a conflict or a crush between a military and a civilian I give the blames to the civilians because the civilians tries to react which is against the military conduct.
