Those at PURCHASE and ECG are also in the same soup. I am surprised that this nonsense has been made to go on for this long. Is it not time for Ghana to try electricity from Solar Energy? Do we need Astronomical Maths to think and be able to reason to do this? Oh, poor Ghana. All we talk above about now is stupid tribal politics.

  ECG is not a serious company. ECG is only interested in frustrating its customers by refusing to replace their faulty prepaid meters for them. Customers visit the offices of ECG several times to complain about their faulty prepaid meters but these ECG officials will do nothing about it. If ECG is unable to replace faulty meters for its customers then how can ECG increase its revenue. In fact, ECG should be given to a private entity for effective and efficient management. ECG is not a serious company and it should be divested

  Pushing all the fault simply in one direction, ECG in this case, is not helpful at all. While ECG is badly run and full of corrupt people on all levels, they are not even at the core of the problem.

  Pushing all the fault simply in one direction, ECG in this case, is not helpful at all. While ECG is badly run and full of corrupt people on all levels, they are not even at the core of the problem.
  
  The rath should be directed at the government which is not paying up for the debt towards the power producers. As a result the gas availability for power production is insufficient.
  
  Eventually ECG can only supply what's available.
  
  And when supply is short ECG revenues are actually suffering and the power producers cannot be paid enough.
  
  It's a vicious circle that took years to get fixed last time. And now the government has sunk the country back again into the next era of Dumsor. No quick fixes anymore.

  After paying 800 hundred Ghana for a new meter, that I can not use the Ecg app to buy credit it’s all frustrating. We need competition in the sector this is cruel as we begin a new week of no iron or fridge in 2024!!!
