Politicians and other public servants deliberately inset judgement debt clauses in such dubious contracts to ward off any future amendments or cancellations. This particular contract was fortunately not approved by parliament, but there are many other instances when such dubious contracts passed through parliament smoothly. One will then ask, what is the use of our parliament in such matters?
