Today everyone in Ghana has mobile phones and the driver who committed the crime deserves tougher punishment than the 6 months imprisonment.Moreover the photographer who took the picture of KIA truck should be arrested and charged to for his or her involvement in the crime.He should have alert authorities or police informing them of a park KIA across the test rail tracks but because he is accessory to the crime he did not report the incident to police or authorities making him accessory.He should be arrested immediately.

The government must rehabilitate the existing railway lines and revive rail transport. We must seriously consider extending the railway lines to Sunyani, Techiman and Tamale. Doing so will reduce the axle load on our roads.

if your car develop a Mechanical fault what do you do ? this is where driver said he went to town to call for help so that the ruck could be moved away,- it was unfortunate during his absence the accident happened.
let us put the issue in it contest and judge same-.
we are living in a country where serious issues are not our priority.
where I live if you car broke down you have an option of calling your Insurance company to bring a towing truck to move your car to a prefer destination.
if we have this as a national policy- since we don't have towing services in the country , the insurance company could have move in to help.
as usual we are going to leave the important lesson out,
and unlawfully jail the accused and the case die.
please it is time you use your God given wisdom.

They should have been the ones to be arrested for negligence. They did not followed a proper procedure for the test run. Did they do any checks on the train trucks before embarking the test. As a test run, how fast was the train running and could not stop immediately. See, they cannot say the cost of the damage. A judge has already sentenced the truck driver to jail without knowing the cost of the damage. How?
