if somebody is holding a dua citizenship , we could train them to be appointed as Ambassadors in their host countries instead of bringing a new person from home , we could chose one from our own Ghana community in the host country abroad.- even this alone could make the Ghana community more functional. it would also reduce cost.

now what parliament could do is,
if a dua Citizen becomes the presidendnt , MP, CJ, IGP, or any High office,
there must be procedures undertaken
1. to sign that he could be prosecuted with Ghana laws in anywhere in the world.
2. he is subjecting to Ghana laws to overrule other laws that are in contradictions to Ghana laws. this means that- Ghana justice system is paramount when it comes to prosecution.
if the person undertake these before assuming his or her duty he or she has weave off his Rights from other country. though his other passport is still valid, Ghana has the upper hand in dealing with him when it comes to prosecution.
it is good move and steps in the right direction.

to deal with corruption
1. you have to empower the people to challenge who so ever is occupying the positions by enlightening the public with the necessary procedural information.
eg
the public knows that
if you applied for a passport after you have submitted your application
The passport office has 2 weeks to give you your passport. if after 2 weeks you had not receive your passport
Go to this or that office to make a complain .
now after you have making the complain
the officer in charge of the issuance of passport must be surcharge to explain the reason of the delay.
that commissioners office has a duty to pronounce the officer guilty or not guilty of unnecessary delay of passport application and could be surcharge to pay a penalty from his or her own salary- because he or she personally abuse the law and office.

if the public knows this- I don't think any officer would be unnecessarily delays application of issuance of passport. if you do you would be punished .
In GHANA here public servants has taken advantage of opaque administration to demand bribes.$
if you go to court and the judge knows that - the public is equipped with more information that
eg
felony cases must be at least last for 2months if it goes beyond that , there would be surcharge .
the presiding judge would work within the timeline to avoid be demoted , surcharge or relief from post.

Why does parliament seek to exclude from governance and leaderships, Ghanaians who have acquired citizenship of other countries for the purposes of mainly employment? The proceeds of such employments usually ends up in Ghana’s economy. Does it matter where one farms? Is it not the harvest that is important? Parliament over the years has worked to exclude Ghanaians with dual nationality from Nation building, the legislative body and the judiciary. What has parliament got to fear. Just recently, a dual national was drugged to court and his parliamentary representation of his people revoked on the grounds that they are dual nationals despite the fact they were born in Ghana.
Barring dual Nationals from contributing to Ghana does not serve any purpose other than sabotaging Ghana.
