I believe that Nana Prempeh 1 didn't give this place to the Fantis for nothing.
Unfortunately,we don't have enough records of how Nana Prempeh was set free and brought back to the Gold Coast.
From what I've read so far,there was this Fanti man called Jacob Wilson Sey of Cape Coast who funded the return of Nana Agyeman Prempeh.
I've no idea of the amount he spent and the legal implications.
