Ghanaweb and the so called Abossey Okai spare parts dealer head of communication head does not understand Vice Pee tax system he is talking about. He is talking about income tax and you are talking about duty tax of imported goods into the country. Demurrage is not about the government doing its about the shipping companies and you importer. When you shipped goods, ask the shipping lines to give more days when the goods arrive here. It’s normally 7 days after the goods available but you can ask the shipping line to give you 14 or somethings 21 days before even the ship leaves
The biggest problem in this country is the collection of income tax and with Vice Pee tax system he is advocating will help the a lot to collect enough income tax for development
This is what we have to ask ourselves, how much income tax does the country collect?
What percentage of the population pay income tax? With the help of the Ghana Card, this country will be able to get everyone above 18 years to prepare his or her income tax every year and that what Vice Pee saying it will be a flat percentage or flat rate. To file your tax return with be simplifying and easy for anyone to do.

As a business owner, you pay both i individual income tax and business income tax. So don’t confuse the two. If everyone in Ghana pay their share of the income and business taxes, some of the other taxes and duties and levies could be abolished as time goes on and it has been done in many countries
The developed countries lives on taxes and the biggest fetched tax is the income tax and the more people in country in a work force the more the income taxes they collect
