If Ghana’s parliament, the arm of government that is the gatekeeper of the nation’s purse, has not seen it wise to stipulate how the EC must dispose of EC equipment and hardware then I blame parliament for not having foresight. The EC knows it’s been caught red handed cheating with the registration exercise. By destroying the hard evidence, EC has made it difficult for forensic trace of what the BVD meters read. There’s internal counter in each machinery; it’s how we know about operational hours. The EC is making fools out of voters by stealing money via mismanagement when they engage in unnecessary procurement.
