Personally, I suspect the woman invested in the galamsey business but she can't say so as it would embarrass the government. The government probably knows this, which is why the AG is trying to stop EOCO going into the matter beyond the remit of corruption. So let's be clear. She hasn't stolen government money.

  Kpebu, corruption charges didn't work do you are looking for another way to get Cecilia Dapaah to be charged for money laundering eh ? Why crying wolf where there's none ? Remember politicians are corrupt but not every politician is corrupt. When Cecilia Dapaah matter came out in the public domain, almost a Ghanaians shouted 'crucify' her because she's stolen ghana's monies and hid in her residence. If not, why is she keeping all those monies in her house ? This is the question many Ghanaians were asking but I said to myself that until thorough investigation is conducted in the sanitation ministry and she is found culpable, I stand by her side. If Ghana is what it is now, it's not Cecilia Dapaah who has made it so but all of us. It also surprises me to the marrow why the husband is completely left out of the whole story as if he was not affected by the stealing that took place in the house. A celebrated architect who has worked for over 50 years and he is being labelled as a thief or corrupt citizen just because his wife is a politician ? When matter of this nature comes out, it's those who are corrupt officials and citizens who are not satisfied with the exoneration that comes after investigation.

  What's the new law Mr. Kpebu? The Anti-Money Laundering act (Act1044) of 2020 says the should be a predicate offense, so let the general public know the law you are talking about otherwise, no offense is committed, please.
