None of the comments I have read gave a rough idea the cost of the VW locally assembled cars.
I deslike traders who can display a good estimate of their prices. "Call for quote" signals lack of transparency and many avoid.
No government can implement a policy that bans importing of used cars. Too many people can simply not afford new cars, even when locally assembled and therefore subsidised.
The Assembly plants can consider these two.
1. Provide smaller cars as Taxi Rental
2 . Hire Purchase for Taxis.
And
1. Hire Purchase to company staff.

Generally consumers prefer more reliable brands like Honda or Toyota. A well maintained used Honda or Toyota is more reliable than a brand new vw or Mercedes benz. It is what it is.
The average Ghanaian worker earns around $350 a month and you expect them to buy brand new vehicles. The government that brought you here is stupid. That is not the kind of FDI we need.
