  It is only in Ghana that Ken Dapaah , the minister of National Security will still be at his post after his naked video was supposedly posted on social media some time ago. How effective would he be as the head of such a vital institution if this allegation about him were true. His own staff will lose the respect and credibility that they have for him . Having said that it is past time that parliament act on the menace post to the security and peace in the country by activities of the land guards which is a criminal group . Parliament must passed a law that would banned Land Guards . These are just vigilante groups being used by individuals to achieve their hidden objectives and the failure to ban them will pose a threat to our elections since some MP’s will rely on them to create havoc . The chieftiancy issues in Ghana also need to be addressed by parliament since some of these chiefs are not legitimately installed and they are those who are responsible for all the conflicts that occur.

  Ghana has a National House of Chiefs as well as a Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs. Why then, after all these years, have these two institutions not been able to make any meaningful progress in determining the succession issues for all the royal houses across Ghana? Why wait till some dispute arises before the government and the House of Chiefs begin to to try to find solutions?
