I have no problem sharing credit with your predecessor, but the blame must be shared too. It doesn't make sense a bit to suggest that the broke economy, under IMF, Akufo-Ado inherited coupled with covid and global insecurity have no effect on his performance. Similarly, all the bad policies implemented by John Dramani like paying in excess of power, 4 year employment freeze in public sector, and 4 year backlog of unposted trained nurses, and the employee layoffs due to dumsor all have ripple effects. Any objective analyst won't ignore the effect of the bad economy Akufo-Ado inherited. Even before the elections John Dramani says he will need 2 yr honeymoon out of 4 year term to start fixing things. But, Akufo-Ado didn't ask for same. No serious president will ask for honeymoon period in the face of national crisis. One more thing, Ghanaians must learn to distinguish between a failure due to incompetence and the one due to other factors. Not a single global crisis can be associated with John Dramani's failure. But despite the economy Akufo-Ado inherited and global crisis he still managed to implement transformational policies albeit few failures. Lets be objective.
