Before 2018 when GN bank and Gold Coast Securities were closes down, both of them and their branches couldnt pay even any customer GHS2,000 from their accounts. GN and Paa Kwesi Nduom applied to BOG to downgrade GN Bank from a universal bank to a savings and loan entity. Nduom lied that govt owed his clients who were all road contractors GHSbillions unpaid bills for work done. It came out that it was all false because what the govt owed was only GHS32m. Nduom and his family financed over fifty unprofitable business entities with depositors funds from the banks. This caused cash crunch at the banks and consequently the collapse of GN B and Gold Coast which collapsed and Nduom himself changed its name to Blackshield. He illegally transfered USD62million to buy a bank in the U.S. Nduom was responsible for the collapse of his bank and no one else.
