  As our esteem bankers talk about the downstream aspect of the industry, most of the growth, i mean material the ones that transformed the Asian tigers are upstream, energy, agriculture and to some extent technology
  The current structure supports government instruments and the pre-financing of government contracts and the rest finds themselves to people who make the bad debt list so this talk of finding alternative business models is revolutionary talk

  The question then again is how does the country finance new and growing businesses the saving and loans model was not a recommended approach in the first place the requirements these companies require before making out loans are not practical, the other is the interest on their products so it was not surprising that most were caught in the net when DDEP and sector clean up came around.
  Years ago when my partner and i started a consulting outfit to provide accounting services to sole traders and small businesses we were advised to add a micro and small business loan handle to our portfolio of services it was obvious the need

  Putting together a Business Plan is no mean feat, so most business people don't have such a document and other is expertise in the field of technical knowledge in operations, accounting, marketing and the fields. Finally business is a vocation and not a patch work
