The GIS officers knew they were hiding something hence their refusal to cooperate. Any delay by GPHA officers will allow the GIS guys to hide whatever they were carrying. I suspect the GPHA security guys wanted their share.

You called these people security personnel, no! These are thieves in Government uniforms. People who have ever cleared anything at the Tema harbor know what goes on there- bribery, demand for items from containers and stealing. If you are a shipper, and these thieves open your container, and demand an item and you refuse to give to them, they penalize you by coming up with unreasonable assessment for taxes just because you refuse to give a TV in your shipment to them. Each of these security entities- excuse me, thieves in uniforms go to church or wherever and whatever they claim to worship to give thanks and testimonies for being stationed at Tema harbor. Why? Because working there will bring you sudden riches.
The problem is not just these criminals in government uniforms but the shippers are also criminals. They want to be assessed far below the correct tax burden. So these criminals are siphoning all sorts of monies and resources that were to go to government into their personal accounts. They didn't build the harbor, Ghanaians did. They didn't hire themselves, government of Ghana, the people of Ghana hired them.
Now, the fight. When thief man steals from thief man, heaven laughs. They know what they do there- with their
"inspections" - no! They are eying and marking. They are so envious and jealous of the gains of others. We must stop this nonsense- "oh Ghana b3y3 yie, abotare na 3hia". 3nkosi dab3n, Ghana mma? Ghana has no hope. We owe IMF, we steal from the harbors, ministers of state are criminals, police are criminals, chiefs are criminals, civil servants of all sectors are criminals, churches and mosques are filled with criminals, ordinary Ghanaians with no power or opportunity now, are potential criminals. So, tell me, how and when are we going to prosper as a nation? The prosperity is in our national mindsets --> characters--> conducts.
