Under the caption "JJ Rawlings fooled us into supporting uprising", one would expect the Ex-Sergeant to provide a single evidence of his assertion, but there is nothing to find. In any case no none can dispute the fact that JJ Rawlings is universally recognized as the greatest leader of Ghana to date after Kwame Nkrumah.

It was the then Capt Boakye Gyan (who became Major later) who went for JJ Rawlings to come to make the announcement for the taking over the reign of the SMC II government. Therefore Akata Pore knew nothing about June4. He should have mentioned 31st December, 1981 uprising which President Dr. Liman was overthrown when he Akata Pore became member of the PNDC and he was later on sacked and made to fly out of the country. He should bring back the amount of used to sponsored him in UK.

THEY courted his attention and drew him over, NOT the other way.

I met him by chance near a certain hotel around the licensing office at 37 roundabout where he came to pick up his letters. He then showed me the Military Police following him. He was using a broken a blue Peugeot 504 Caravan that took some time to spark!

Some elements in the army became sympathetic to his plight, especially when corruption became even more serious and Limann's power was being wrestled from his hands by the unruly Vice and evil guys like Kofi Batsa and Okutwer Bekoe.
