  Import must be given a fix flat rate in cedis. The gov. Should fix prices of containers at the port. If not transport fares is likely to go up, thus increasing inflation and hardship.

  I don’t want the cedi to depreciate but I agree with IMF for once that the central bank should just allow the cedis to get to its real value. When the cedi hit 15GHC to the dollar in 2022, y’all increased price astronomically but never reduced it when it fell to 8 again. Same goes for market women and fruit vendors. Why the fuss about increasing price again when you are already selling at prices pegged to the 2022 15Ghc rates.
  Nothing works in this damn country. Every one is a clever bully.
