You talk about research and yet you say Cecelia Dapaah is in court? On what charges was she sent to court? You rather seem to be the one who needs to do research and find out what exactly is going on in your own country.

And why on God's green Earth would I be pained about a bunch of people who choose to bury their heads in the sand like Ostriches, and delude themselves into thinking that they are better than any other nation, when the facts are clear for all to see.

You're talking about joining hands with Ghanaians to fight issues in Nigeria. That's probably the most laughable thing I've heard all year. Have you been able to join hands with each other to fight even the most trivial of issues plaguing your nation of under 30 million people, that you believe you even have a scintilla of the capability required to do so in a culturally diverse nation such as Nigeria with nearly 10 times the population of your country?

You talk about police in Nigeria shielding who? Yet you advice someone to do research? Hasn't the Andrew person been arrested by the Nigerian police and currently in their custody?

The bottom line remains that crime is universal, and every nation in Africa has its unique challenges. You lot need to get that into your heads and stop this flawed attempt at painting Nigeria black. And number two she made a big mistake by diverting her trip to a different destination, while the wedding has been cancelled. She should have returned back to Lagos and come back home to Ghana. There are so many Ghanaians living in Port Harcourt. Many are into education and some are lecturers there..some hustle on normal jobs. But what I want to say, even a Nigerian girl will not agree to what she just did. Imagine your friend took you to a wedding and later say you should come to ABA for business related trip. In Nigeria it's not everywhere a Nigerian travels to. For security reasons. They have what they call Biafra fighters in the east. It automatically make those areas a security risk. She lack good knowledge of where she was going, though it's known for business progress, but even indigens from such places are also careful. It's all clear that her friend took her to a date with some people there. They were not there for business trip and she played all along. It's unfortunate that the people could be bad guys. And they decided to lure the two of them and achieve their wicked motives. Most pimping business don't end up well. The man your friend was going to introduce you to night end up raping you with his friends. If she had gently gone back after the wedding was cancelled, this could have been avoided..The friend who took her there is part of the plan. They should look for the friends of the Nigerian lady and arrest them..if they know her boyfriend they should arrest him too. It's all a drawn out plan. Ghanaians who travel to Nigeria and do well are smart. They will not follow who they can't trust to a background check. Incase something happened, they know where to find them. She became vulnerable when she left the original location. She might have been locked up in a room and a mad drug addict might want to take advantage of her. Where she is right now is not far from the hotel she was lodged. She is still in the same town. Track her phone and track her friends phone, intelligence can also know the last calls they got and who called them. The Nigerian police department have those technologies, they will find them after some necessary arrest has been made.

Lesson for ladies. Don't follow your friend to meet men in a foreign land, especially when it's just you. Even a man can't do that. You should be security conscious. Before you lodge in an hotel, make sure it's not hidden location, and make sure the room is secured. I went to a country one time. I paid higher amount for a room because it was well secured than the others. It has its own security Ion gate before the hotel room door. Before you break in I should be able to make some calls. Me as a man could think of my security. Talkless of you women will follow a friend to her village for a meeting with strangers. You get heart. Security consciousness matters when you are out of your base. Wherever you go be wise. Don't drink if you are just alone with alot of different strange friends..you might be drugged. Drink if you have to at your hotel.

Alot of police are compromise, but mind you this is a matter of kidnapping, there are powerful people involved amongst the Nigerian police force who seek to know the whereabouts of the abducted ladies. No amount of bribe can save anyone who is involved in this. You might bribe corrupt police officers when the crime is not known yet, not when the crime is already on the news. Even the National Security are on top of this matter as we speak because the President will want to have answers too. It's not just about the Ghanaian lady, it's about national security, there are big Ghanaians living in Abuja Nigeria for.more than 20 years. Sale with Nigerians living in Ghana. I can tell you that man can't be bigger than most Ghanaians who are successful in Nigeria. And you won't tell me the police can cover up for the man when powerful people are seeking to know the truth. The investigation is still on and the crime will be resolve. Nigeria police can keep a blind eye to minor crimes and take bribe. But when it comes to kidnapping and arm robbery, they act with all aggression. They are trying their best. Let's pray they find the ladies.
