It led to widespread corruption in the scheme and that’s part of the problem with this whole health insurance. Sometimes I have pain in my heart because the very educated people in our society who are supposed to speak and help steer this nation in the right direction are quiet, either due to cluelessness or politically blinded.

It is laudable initiative which will relieve some pressure from people going through this kidney issue. They should cautious of the following:

1. This initiative should be keenly monitored so it does not breed corruption in that unit. Whereby the rich will be given all the attention as compare to the poor man because they will be given "tippens"

2. We hope that budget for this has been distributed to all health facilities who will partake in this exercise through NHIS scheme for the six month period. We don't want to hear that various facility has been closed down due to unpaid monies or there is strike if it happens this way only the poor and the valnerable the suffers.

As soon as the free dialysis starts every hospital that do dialysis will collapse cuz Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia will never pay for the patients. Even NHIS that they give only OTC drugs, government is owing.
