Let us look at this from an objective business perspective...If this was a a business you would have to say that the last solid win or performance against a top team was really the win against South Korea in Qatar. That was in 2022. Since then, we have experienced draws, lucky wins and losses. When that is happening that means we do not have anyone who can take over a match. It is not personal. It is business. Sometimes changes are necessary.

During our last Afcon group game against Mozambique, our winger, Painstil was having a remarkable game - his skirmishes got us a penalty and Jordan converted. At half time, Dede pressured the coach to take new boy Painstil off so that he Dede enters the game to break records for his own selfish gain. So coach Houghton succumbed to Dede’s demands, and took off about the best performing player, so that Dede could set a record. In extra time, Dede palmed the ball in the 18, and the rest is history.
