I think it's high GFA came up with a standard policy for retiring players. Same thing happened to Gyan and wasn't nice at all. Our players ought to retire honorably just as the FAs in other countries have been doing.

They make a sloppy argument that those he started with have all left the blackstars, but they refuse to use common sense why those he started with don't play at the club level that he's doing. It's easy to think Abedi is influencing his selection to the team, what about the clubs who sign him? Does Abedi have control over them? If L'Havre signed him and pays him what Ghana can't ever pay him, it means he has something to offer. So, why pull him down before his time? Otto-Addo can't give a reasonable explanation here besides following the whims of people who want Dede out at all cost. However, you can play this trick with regular players, not a substantive captain. Otto-Addo's action is a reflection if his scant management experience. Akwesi Appiah didn't drop Adaomiah Gyan like this, Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, etc weren't dropped like this. You communicate your plans and make room for the player to transition. How can a 34 year old be too old to play? Dede and Jordan use their correct age, so people should stop comparing with those who used football age and got caught up with nature.
