Is this not double taxation?Thank God I live in a country where lottery wins are not taxed. In the UK scratch cards alone yield 4 million pounds a day for good causes.

EU should not be hypocrite. They tax lotto. Lotto is like an investment and it is an income, a profit on investissement and profits are taxed. I don't encourage over taxing.

That tax is income tax, after that when you spend that money anywhere you can pay another tax, but not income tax. If you pay your electricity bill with you income, you a tax or levy, if you thinks like clothing, groceries or go to the movies you pay tax on them so there is such things like double tax on your income. Even if you keep your income in a bank, the bank also tax you on that

Covid and E Levies need to be cut asap. Mayday three new Taxes were established and from July 1st more has to come to print posters and shirts for campaign, through increment of water and electricity.
