  This is the kind of ignorant talk shaping public discourse in our dear country. The relative importance of every job role is taken into job evaluation in determine a salary grading viz the Universal Grading structure upon which the Single Spine Salary Structure is built. Job grading assumes competence, integrity and satisfactory performance of a job role. So to argue that NIA staff superintendent over our national data and therefore must be paid well lest they compromise our data can only come from someone who is uninformed and wishing for blackmail. By this lame argument how much should doctors be paid; how much should utility workers be paid, etc., etc.
