It is because of people like you AK why i get a lot of mockery when i attend international fora and mention the Ghanaian legal system.
You may not know this but an AG should not under any circumstances be in contact if he/she initiated that contact or the client of a defendant initiates the contact.
In England, even if the lawyer of the defendant wants to contact the prosecutor, it should be under the express knowledge or agreement of the defendant and the defendants lawyer should explain in writing the pros and cons of that contact and why it will be in the interest of the defendant.
Lets say that the defendants lawyer gets into contact with the prosecutor in a setting other than say the law court canteen or restaurant, the defendants lawyer should inform the client in a reasonably short time where that contact happened and under which circumstances. At reasonably time means as a lawyer or solicitor, you judgement should enable you to determine that reasonbleness.
There are many lawyers in Ghana who wish to practice law in England but fail por potorr because they cannot pass the CONDUCT exam or practice and they think the white man hates them.
