  Did I understand the caption correctly or understand the article all together? My question is do the MPs contribute towards SSNIT which I believe is the main body of managing the Ghanaian worker pensions, and our MPs, being part of the Ghanaian work force, contribute towards SSNIT so, what is the meaning of this new body to be established for "MPs alone"?

  Where is the pension money going to come from? You enjoy pension fund after you contribute. In another vain, you MPs said the ex-gratia being paid to you includes your pension so what pension again? After working for 38 years with double masters and a chain of post graduate certificates and a Director in public service my 2024 pension is less than 3,000ghs. So for 4 years how is your contribution will be like? And your monthly pension? Please let us all open our eyes, they want to increase their ex-gratia ooo

  After the huge salaries they take when in office, their pensions schemes should NOT be albatross on the head of already suffering Ghanaians. Lots of people go to bed on empty stomach and some eat just one meal a day, but what do we see in our leaders quarters? These mps have money to dole on ladies, build luxurious homes for their families and side chicks. We don't expect the poor in the villages to bear the pensions of those who mismanaged when they have the opportunity to live big.
