If indeed there has ever been anything called one district one factory in this country, and these corrupt people in government didn't use the policy as a cash cow, to steal from the taxpayers, there could have been more factories producing cement to curtail these high pricing of the commodity.
Ghana has never seen anything close to blessings since 2016.
God rescue us from these devils in human skins.

How on earth can a strategic industry like power generation to given to private individuals, they are milking Ghana selling power at 14cents per kilowatt while VRA is selling it at 2.4 cents.

They repatriate that money in US dollars depreciating our currency diminishing our reserves compelling government to seek IMF bailout.

Import license doesn't mean ceasing of importation. It implies importation will be restricted unless you acquire a license to import. That implies only few people will import in huge volumes.

After that the sugar users resort to Komenda and Asutuare sugar factories.

the manufacturers can complain of lack of consultation.
everybody should get it clear that Business is to make more profit, so anything that has to do with sacrificing marginal profit would face obstacles, but that cannot stop the implementation of good policies
