Referring to your dad, I am also old enough to understand the rationale of JJ’s coup. Many things happened that not all approve of but there are very good lessons to be learnt. The difference between what's going on in Kenya and Ghana demos is that in modern Ghana, there has never been a demo that has been held simultaneously across the country and has lasted for 24 hours and beyond. Lives have been lost and others maimed in demos in Ghana that lasted for hours so one can imagine how many lives and injuries will happen to demonstrators if the demo last for days. Ironically, leaders of demos don't get injured or killed but the ordinary street people are always at the receiving end. Shame
