  Akufo Addo should not stir the anger of the youth. A vindictive man. He should watch the Kenyan action by the youth once more! He should end peacefully and leave the scene.

  No body stood up to Akuffo Addo when he dismissed heads of some establishment without any recourse.
  He fired these guys based on their political affiliation with the opposition party . Since he has not been challenged, he thinks he can terminate any body at will with Ghanaians just quiet. The rumors about the IGP should be of concern to all Ghanaians during this election period. It is the police service who are mandated to provide security during elections and that could be compromised with the removal of the IGP . If the IGP has not reached the retirement age and his performance is satisfactory, what will be the basis for his removal ? Ghanaians must wake up

  Persons who occupy the office as a head of Ghana Police Service and Ghana Prisons Service are no longer members of the public service who are public officers properly so called, but are in a unique category of their own following their appointment. Until their appointment, such persons are career public office holders whose termination is governed by Article 191 (b). However, once appointed, they attain the pinnacle of public service particularly in the institutions they find themselves in and become non-career public office holders. It therefore follows that the removal of these public office holders cannot be the same as those members of the public service which is anticipated under Article 191 (b).

  "So if you are the commander in chief and you cannot even change your guard,then change the commander in chief title. I do believe that we should be able,if you ask me,to put the right people in the right places at anytime in order to ensure the safety of our republic. If you do happen to have a security chief who is not effective and because we pass a judgment that the president cannot touch him,it affects the safety of the citizens and when it comes to safety of the citizens it is something that we must take seriously. If a public servant makes a mistake the consequences are not immediate but if a security chief makes a mistake and we lose a life or people suffer harm, the consequences are irreversible and so we must look at everything that goes with it but let's leave it with the wisdom of the court to make a decision and then we decide how we all go forward".
