The drafters got it clear- that we could get a drunkard president like Akuffu Addo who could abuse the executive powers, so in the wisdom of the constitution - The president could only present the nominee to parliament for approval before he could appoint or employ them to the Supreme Court.
I don't have a problem on a drunkard president appointing people here and there, qualify or unqualified -
what we should all channel our energy to is parliament because they in parliament has the power to either approved or disapproved , call the nominees for vetting , or postpone the vetting until when they in parliament are convinced that the nominees need to be vetted.
if parliament failed this exercise , due to lack of understanding of their job, due to their insensitiveness about the situation at hand,- then don't blame the president for exercising his drunkard executive powers.

Yes so if the judge in question is qualified and has integrity that lawyer should consider the fact that she's currently presiding over a highly politicised case that which will potentially put her integrity to the test. It is a wrong time to suggest her to be a supreme court judge. This reminds me of that foolish Aflao chief who presided over Dr. Opuni's case. Educated fools who have become bootlickers
