So far, not a single comment on this wall is relevant to the issue at discourse - "new venue for Ghana game amidst political dispute."
Ghana should welcome the new venue in South Sudan. It will afford it safely from Sudan's civil war,. Again, because South Sudan liberated itself from Sudan, Ghana may gain potential neutral support from their fans.
Further, this match is also shrouded in another controversy: talk of "conflict of interest" of Sudan's Coach Kwesi Appiah, who's said to be on the Board of Directors of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The GFA has preempted any resultant problem by asking FIFA for clarification. I don't think this should be an issue for Ghana. If anything, it should be the Sudan Football Association that must have misgivens about Coach Appiah's conflicting allegiance. GFA is engaged in much ado about nothing.
