Why didn't Sadio Mane move to Saudi that time ? Because he was not yet at his peak . So Sadio Mane under Klopp in Liverpool became an excellent player and won all the big trophies football can offer . He won African best player and we all saw his impact on Senegal national teams. Fifa always nominated him for world best player.
Let's take Salah, he moved from Roma to Liverpool under Klopp . Why Salah did not move to Saudi immediately ?They formed a fearsome attacking forward that was a delight to watch, though l am a Chelsea fan. Salah has won every big trophy so he can move to Saudi now for big money.
In January 2024, the Saudis tempted Osimhen with very big money to move to Saudi . He did not move ? Why didn't Osimhen move? Now he is seeking a move to EPL Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal . If those boys including the striker are poached by clubs from Vietnam , Bangladesh , Rwanda and Saudi with big money , will you advice them to go ? The Malians, Senegalese and Ivorians will not entertain such transfers . They have made it their policies to transfer their young talents to countries they can develop eg Europe championship clubs then get into big clubs . I have already checked current squads of Mali, Senegal and Ivory Coast . With the great potential those talents have ,they don't go to Saudi at an early age .
