K. Gyasi, the building materials dealer has been dealing with this thievery all the time. Many of businesses set up by Ghanaians in diaspora have collapsed because of the owners being stolen from by their workers.
Stealing from business owners has become the norm in Ghana. No wonder the unemployment rate is so high. We cannot fully blame the government for the high unemployment in Ghana. We are our own nemesis.

I really sympathise with this contractor. Ghanaians generally like stealing too much. Ghanaians are insincere that is why we are suffering. This is what the pastors should be preaching about and not prosperity messages. Look in my village, I know a lot of teachers, nurses and doctors who have saved a lot of money and want to go into business and employ the youth but because of pilfering they have stopped. Now what they do is to buy nice cars, build nice houses and the men chase young girls in the community. After all, they want to enjoy themselves rather than allowing some criminals to be feasting on their sweat.

We are in the digital space and instead of the black man using it to correct mistakes we often use the primitive and traditional approach. There are many subtle questions to ask him annkasa. Has he ever condoned and connive with the people in authority to inflate contact? Has he ever paid kickbacks to people in authority? Has he ever paid his way for contracts? We leave the answers to nature. I personally think we have come from afar to stoop to this primitive ways of handling important issues like this in the digital era.
