  You fail to mention the severe environmental degradation that tarnishes the story. Our major rivers, drinking waters and agricultural lands are polluted with toxic metals. I am sure there are Ghanaians with traces of poisonous metals in their bodies walking around. Our cocoa producing lands are giving way to illegal gold mining. We are being destroyed not by global warming but by self-inflicted slow death from poisons and toxins - all for what - to be the fastest growing sovereign fund. Wow.
